Russian gets longest ever cybercrime sentence in US history

Russian hacker Roman Seleznev, specialising in stolen credit card numbers, has been sentenced to 27 years in prison, the longest sentence handed down for cybercrime in US history. Seleznev is the son of Russian Parliamentarian and President Vladimir Putin's ally Valery Seleznev. Russian officials had described the hacker's arrest in 2014 in the Maldives as a "kidnapping".
