A 30-year-old Russian man who, according to Federal Security Service, planned to fight for Ukraine has been jailed for four years and eight months, a report said. Sergey Ulukshonov was accused of studying "pro-Ukrainian websites" in 2022 and sharing "Nazi views". In July, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law equating defection to high treason, with up to 20-year sentence.
