Russian Minister Lavrov tells Jaishankar ‘I am homesick’ on sidelines of UNGA

A video shared on social media showed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov telling External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, “I am homesick,” as they interacted on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Jaishankar responded by asking Lavrov if he had been travelling a lot. Recently, Lavrov also backed India’s bid for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
