Russian oil makes up nearly half of India's imports in June

India's imports of Russian crude are averaging 2.66 million barrels per day in June, nearly 40% higher than in May, as refiners continued buying discounted oil. Russia's share of India's crude purchases has risen to around 50%, strengthening its position as the country's top supplier. The increase comes amid concerns over supply disruptions and shipping risks in West Asia.
