Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Russia-Ukraine conflict has highlighted that being "self-reliant without dependencies" is a vital necessity. Indian Navy, which has been at the forefront of the government's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative, must continue to lead the way, he added. He further informed that Indian Navy trained over 19,000 foreign personnel in the last four decades.
