Rybakina beats world no. 1 Sabalenka to win Aus Open, gets ₹26.5-cr prize money
World number five Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan defeated world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the Australian Open 2026 women's singles final to win her second Grand Slam title. The 26-year-old won the final with a scoreline of 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in two hours and 18 minutes. She received prize money of AU$4,150,000 (around ₹26.5 crore) for her victory.
