Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said, "South Korea is currently tracking to lose about half its population roughly every generation." His comments followed a tweet which said South Korea plans to give every family with a newborn child a monthly allowance of $740. "Long lifespan hides the dire nature of the problem," Musk added discussing South Korea's population issue.
