S Korea minister quits, takes responsibility for tensions with North

South Korea's Unification Minister Kim Yeon-chul, who oversees relations with North Korea, has resigned from his post, taking responsibility for the deterioration in ties with the North. South Korean President Moon Jae-in accepted his resignation days after North Korea blew up the inter-Korean joint liaison office on its side of border and threatened to redeploy troops to the border.
