South Korea has become the eighth country in the world to offer universal high-speed Internet to the whole country, the government said on Sunday. However, the transmission speed of 100 Mbps is the fastest by far, it added. The decision aims to focus on Internet dead spot issues and end the "data divide" among people in South Korea.
