S Korea to expand COVID-19 testing, shorten quarantine amid Omicron

South Korea will expand rapid testing against COVID-19 and shorten quarantine amid rising cases due to Omicron. From Wednesday onwards, quarantine for people who test positive after being fully vaccinated will be reduced to seven days, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said. South Korea reported 7,513 COVID-19 cases on Monday, recording over 7,000 daily cases for third day.
