South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol on Thursday said that he will take a tougher stance against North Korean provocations. Yoon also said that he will solidify an alliance with the US and build a powerful military. He also stressed a need to recognise the strategic importance of repairing ties with Japan despite a dispute over wartime history.
