Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg recently declared that the Big Bash League (BBL) is "unashamedly" targeting second place behind the IPL by seeking private investment to boost its competition. In response, SA20 Commissioner Graeme Smith said, “We want to dominate, and we want to be the biggest league outside the IPL. Three years in, we’ve set the standard.”
