Cricket legend and Rajya Sabha member, Sachin Tendulkar has adopted Puttamraju Kandrika village located in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, for developing it as a smart village with nearly Rs. 4 crore from his MPLADS funds. There are several development proposals to be implemented within the village, including providing Wi-Fi connectivity to the residents.
