Sachin Tendulkar, aged 16 years and 205 days, made his international debut against Pakistan in a test match in Karachi on November 15, 1989. Tendulkar was the third-youngest Test cricketer, after Mushtaq Mohammad and Aaqib Javed, at the time. He was bowled on 15 in the first innings by Waqar Younis (17), who also made his debut on the day.
