The Supreme Court on Monday granted bail to Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia in a disproportionate assets case. Majithia had approached the apex court after the Punjab and Haryana High Court rejected his bail plea. The SAD leader was arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau in June last year and has been in judicial custody since then.
