Saina Nehwal loses to Sindhu in straight sets in India Open

Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal lost to compatriot and Rio Olympics silver medallist PV Sindhu in the quarterfinal match of the India Open on Friday. World number five Sindhu defeated Nehwal in straight sets 21-16, 22-20, in the 47-minute match. The match was only the second international level encounter between the two players, with Nehwal having won the last in 2014.
