During a hearing in UK, MP Andy McDonald asked how the salary and bonuses Sainsbury's CEO Simon Roberts receive are justifiable during the cost of living crisis. Roberts gets £408,000 (over ₹4 crore) per month, £94,000 (over ₹97 lakh) per week and £2,298 (over ₹2 lakh) per hour, McDonald noted. He added, "Workers are paid £11 (over ₹1,000) an hour."
