Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, in an episode of 'The Logan Bartlett Show', said the American cloud-based software company cut 4,000 jobs due to AI agents. "I was able to rebalance my headcount on my support...I've reduced it from 9,000 heads to about 5,000...because I need fewer heads," he said. He added AI agents enhance productivity by handling untapped sales leads.
