Salesforce is investigating the breach that exposed customer data via apps developed by Gainsight, a company that offers platform for businesses to manage their customer relationships. It temporarily revoked all active access to Gainsight's applications. Hacking group ShinyHunters claimed responsibility for the breach and threatened Salesforce with new data leak site if their demands weren't met.
