Salesforce plans to cut more than 1,000 jobs and hire workers to sell new AI products, Bloomberg reported. Many affected employees will be reportedly allowed to apply for other jobs internally. However, the report didn't specify which divisions the reductions were focused on. The company had 72,682 employees as of January 31, 2024, as per the company's annual report.
