Household goods salesmen have threatened to disrupt supplies to kirana stores if consumer companies provide products at lower prices to Reliance Industries, Reuters reported. Last year, salesmen of companies like Unilever and Colgate-Palmolive saw a 20-25% drop in their sales. The drop in sales was attributed to kirana stores ordering digitally from JioMart owing to 'deeply discounted offerings'.
