Actor Salman Khan has filed a defamation suit against a television news channel, seeking ₹100 crore as damages. The actor has claimed in the suit, that a sting operation conducted by the channel in the 1998 chinkara poaching case was "malicious" and "defamatory". He also wants the channel to be restrained from releasing any part of that sting operation.
