Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and Member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council, SRS Yadav, has died due to COVID-19 in Lucknow aged 87, the party said. He had tested positive on September 1 and passed away at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences on Monday. "The state has lost a dedicated socialist today," SP President Akhilesh Yadav tweeted.
