Samsung beats Apple in ad spendings in India

In what is being termed as the biggest marketing war of the year, Samsung India spent four times as much as rival Apple in advertising campaigns in India in 2013, according to three executives aware of the details. Samsung's advertising budget at Rs 400 crore dwarfed Apple's Rs 90-100 crore expenditure in India, the industry executives said.
