Samsung Electronics has cut jobs across its US display, smartphone and consumer electronics businesses, Reuters reported. This has affected 739 employees in New Jersey as Samsung Electronics America shifts its headquarters to Texas. The company said most affected employees were offered relocation, while others were laid off. Samsung laid off about 100 workers at its Plano, Texas office.
