Samsung launched its thinnest Android smartphone, the Galaxy Alpha, in India at Rs.39,990 on Saturday. The Galaxy Alpha features compact metal framed body and 4.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) and has a 12megapixel rear camera along with a 2.1megapixel front camera. It will be available from Oct first week.
