Samsung Electronics' South Korean labour union said it will go ahead with a planned strike next week despite the company offering to resume pay talks. This comes as negotiations over wages and bonuses collapsed this week. The union said it is open to fresh talks after June 7 while continuing with plans for an 18-day strike starting May 21.
