Santa Claus caps can't be forced on employees at workplace: High Court

Allahabad High Court has cautioned a retail chain against compelling its employees to wear Santa Claus red caps in the workplace, observing that such compulsion may hurt sentiments of people of different faiths. "This type of action is not permitted in the democratic system of the country wherein every citizen is free to follow his/her faith and belief," it stated.
