Santana the 1st Spaniard to win Wimbledon passes away aged 83

Manuel Santana, the first Spanish Wimbledon champion, passed away on Saturday at the age of 83 in Marbella, Spain. Santana had won four Grand Slams in singles, all in amateur era. He also won a gold medal in singles at 1968 Olympic Games. "You [Santana] will always be one of a kind...you were always my role model," said Rafael Nadal.
