Countering PM Narendra Modi's recent claim on the Kashmir issue, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel "was okay with J&K joining Pakistan till September 13, 1947". PM Modi had said that "one person", an apparent reference to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, couldn't resolve the Kashmir issue while Sardar Patel merged all other princely states.
