Sardines wash ashore at Kerala beach, locals collect fish

A large number of sardines washed ashore at Mannalamkunnu beach in Kerala's Punnayurkulam. The fish were reportedly escaping fishing nets in the deep sea when strong waves pushed them onto the beach. Locals and tourists collected the fish using vessels and sacks, while some reportedly sold the extra catch.
