A saree, hidden in former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna's farmhouse, became critical forensic evidence that contributed to his conviction for rape of 47-year-old domestic worker. According to India Today, investigators found the saree, still carrying traces of physical evidence, inside the attic during a raid. It was allegedly taken by Prajwal after assault and was never returned to the survivor.
