Bengaluru-based Sarla Aviation has started ground testing of its SYLLA air taxi demonstrator. The half-scale aircraft was built in nine months by a rapidly growing team led by founders Adrian Schmidt and Rakesh Gaonkar. With a 7.5-metre wingspan, SYLLA marked a major step toward developing fully designed and built electric air taxis.
