Bengaluru-based Sarvam AI has become a unicorn after raising $234 million (around ₹2,200 crore) in the first close of its $300 million Series B round at $1.5 billion post-money valuation. New investors HCLTech and Bessemer Venture Partners, along with existing investors Khosla Ventures and Peak XV Partners, participated in the round. HCLTech will invest $150 million as lead strategic investor.
