Indian high jumper Sarvesh Kushare clinched silver in the men's high jump at CWG 2026, becoming the first Indian to finish second in the event at the Games. The national record holder cleared 2.25 metres but lost gold to Jamaica's Romaine Beckford on countback. Beckford cleared 2.25 metres on his first attempt, while Kushare needed three attempts to do so.
