Satellite captures solar eclipse visible only from space
short by Daisy Mowke / on Tuesday, 29 April, 2025
A solar eclipse visible only from space was captured by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory. It took place on April 27, when Moon blocked 23% of Sun in a partial eclipse, but it wasn't possible to see this from Earth. Another eclipse will take place on July 25, which will be the longest and deepest transit in first half of 2025.
