Satellite images capture Europe's most active volcano's eruption

Italy's Mount Etna, the most active volcano in Europe, erupted in the early hours of Monday. Satellite imagery captured by EUMETSAT showed how smoke and ash emerged from the volcano. Flights serving the eastern Sicilian city of Catania were halted on Monday after the eruption, which sent an ash plume from the 10,925-foot-high volcano spread across part of the island.
