Nagpur-based lawyer and social activist Satish Ukey and six others were booked under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) after a complaint was filed against them over forging land documents. Earlier, Ukey had lodged complaints and filed a petition against Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis for suppressing information about his criminal cases in his 2014 election affidavit.
