Saudi Arabia approves exemption requirements for duty-free shops

Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has approved exemptions from customs duties and taxes for duty-free shops in arrival halls at all customs ports. New regulations aim to enhance services, with a 3,000 Saudi Riyals per passenger limit on duty-free purchases, and 200 cigarettes per passenger. ZATCA is now accepting licensing applications for duty-free shop operators.
