Saudi Arabia and nuclear-armed Pakistan have signed a mutual defence pact pledging that any attack on one will be considered an attack on both. "This agreement...reflects [our]...commitment...to enhance...security...and peace in the region," a joint statement by both countries read. This comes days after Israel's strike on Saudi Arabia's neighbour Qatar, and months after India's Operation Sindoor.
