Saudi court sentences Punjab man to death in narcotics case

A youth from Punjab's Nangal, identified as Gurpreet Singh, has been sentenced to death in a narcotics case in Saudi Arabia. He was jailed nearly two years ago after drugs were allegedly seized from his truck. The Indian Embassy communicated the verdict to authorities, who informed his family. His mother has appealed to PM Narendra Modi and CM Bhagwant Mann to intervene and facilitate his return.
