Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah on Sunday alleged that VD Savarkar was inspired by Adolf Hitler's ideology and gave birth to Hindutva in India. He accused BJP of spreading lies in the name of Hindutva to cause division in society while adding that Hindutva and Hinduism are entirely different. He further said that BJP can't come back to power in Karnataka.
