SBI plans to increase the total number of loans it gives out to environmentally sustainable businesses and projects, also called green advances, to 7.5-10% by 2030. This would include businesses and projects involved in renewable energy, energy-efficient buildings, electric mobility, and green hydrogen, among others. Green advances accounted for 1.56% of SBI's total loans as on March 31, 2025.
