SBI board approves plan to raise ₹14,880 cr through bonds in FY22

State Bank of India's (SBI) central board has approved a proposal to raise up to $2 billion (around ₹14,880 crore) through bonds in 2021-22, according to an exchange filing. The board approved the plan during a meeting on Wednesday. In January 2021, the bank raised $600 million (nearly ₹4,500 crore) from bonds to fund overseas business expansion.
