Aiming to enroll government entities in the online marketplace, the country’s largest lender State Bank of India is setting up its payment gateway - SBI ePay - thereby becoming the first bank in India to do so. The bank is also in the process of rolling out an electronic bill presentment and payment platform and voice response phone payment system.
