The SBI has opened an ATM on a houseboat at the Dal Lake in Jammu & Kashmir's Srinagar. The floating ATM at the Dal Lake, which hosts a floating vegetable market on shikaras, also houses a floating post office. In 2004, the bank launched a 'floating' ATM in Kerala that operated on a ferry.
