The State Bank of India has reduced interest rate on home loan by up to 0.25 percent. The bank said that the rate would now be 9.85 percent for women borrowers and 9.9 percent for male borrowers and it will come into effect from 13 April. This move came after HDFC Bank reduced its rate by 0.2 percent.
