Jaisalmer Police has arrested SBI's former Chairman Pratip Chaudhuri in an alleged loan scam case. The case is related to properties owned by Godawan Group, which took ₹24-crore loan from SBI for constructing a hotel. Allegations against Chaudhuri include properties worth ₹200 crore being sold for ₹25 crore after SBI seized them for defaulting on loan.
