SBWL clears Adani power line through Maharashtra tiger corridor

Maharashtra's State Board for Wildlife approved a proposal granting 136 hectares in the tiger corridor linking Navegaon Nagzira, Pench, and Kanha Indravati reserves for Adani Power's 400-kV transmission line from Raipur to Tiroda. The project will fell 5,152 trees. Adani Power has been directed to deposit ₹447 lakh with the forest department for mitigation.
