SC, ST students no longer have to pay upfront fees in govt medical, engineering colleges in Odisha

Odisha CM Mohan Majhi said students belonging to SC-ST communities will not have to deposit fees at the time of admission or up to six months thereafter in government medical and engineering colleges. The students can pay fees after receiving their scholarship amount. This comes after reports of meritorious students struggling to arrange money at the stage of admission surfaced.
